This is my first time really playing a MMO if that is even what they are really called lol... i did play a little bit of WOW and thought the game sucked... I have really enjoyed Neosteam so far and hope that it only gets better...

Yeah, they are called MMOs for short, but the full name of the genre is MMORPG, which stands for Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game.
