There are 4 basic jobs to choose from in NeoSteam.  These jobs are the same regardless of race or nation.

These jobs are: 

Fighter

Mage

Rogue

Craftor 

Each of these basic jobs has 2 advanced jobs for each nation. Whilst the advanced jobs are primarily the same for each nation, there is a variation in what skills and abilities you get depending which nation you are part of.
